• Similar to different blocks in an apartment complex (like A block, B block), subdomains provide unique addresses for various parts of your website.
• For example, consider Google’s subdomains like adsense.google.com, blog.google.com, and analytics.google.com, each representing a distinct aspect of their business.

Reasons for Using Subdomains

• Organize different aspects of your business or website under distinct subdomains for better management.
• Optimize website performance by tailoring content for different devices, such as desktop and mobile.
• Expand your online presence internationally by creating country-specific subdomains.
• For instance, Facebook uses m.facebook.com for mobile devices to ensure faster loading times and better user experience.

How to Create a Subdomain

• Subdomains can only be created through your hosting provider.
• Using Bluehost as an example:
• Log in to your Bluehost dashboard.

• Navigate to Domains > Subdomain.
• If no subdomains exist, you’ll see a prompt to add one.
• Click “Add Subdomain” and enter the desired subdomain name (e.g., “blog”).

• Choose the main domain under which you want to create the subdomain (e.g., tgweb.in).
• Your subdomain is now created and ready to use.

Setting Up a Website in a Subdomain

• Once the subdomain is created, you can install a website on it, such as WordPress.
• Using Bluehost: Navigate to My Sites > Create Site.
• Enter the site name and tagline.
